Coconut Hair & Scalp Treatment

Coconut Oil Hair and Scalp Treatment

You will need:
4 tbsp. of coconut oil (softened), 2-4 drops of tea tree oil and 3-4 drops of rosemary oil. You will also need a mixing bowl, scalp treatment bristle brush and an application brush (all 3 can be found at Sally's Beauty Supply).

1. With a small spoon mix all three ingredients together until smooth.
2. With the scalp treatment bristle brush comb gently through hair from front to back applying light pressure. This will stimulate the scalp and help to get rid of any dead skin.
3. Part hair down the middle front to back.
4. Using the application brush, apply the oil mixture from the center part down and repeat all over head.
5. You may then massage the mixture into the scalp making sure there is full coverage and bring the extra mixture down toward the ends of your hair.
6. Leave the treatment in for 15-20 minutes! **I like to take a dark towel (oil can stain) and run it through the dryer for a bit and then wrap my hair in it. The heat from the towel will allow the cuticle of the hair as well as the pores in your scalp to open up.
7. Wash out with Shampoo and Conditioner.

*If you have blonde hair avoid the rosemary oil because it may stain!
