Pearls are one of the most beautiful creations by nature itself. Believe it or not, they are simply formed by an oyster protecting itself from debris that has slipped into it's shell. The oyster coats the debris with layers upon layers of a calcium carbonate (shiny coating on the outside of the shell) which in time then creates a pearl!
Pearl powder comes from "finely milled" seawater/freshwater pearls and can be orally ingested or applied topically. Seawater pearls contain almost double the amount of ions, amino acids and minerals as opposed to freshwater therefore they are more highly recommended. Some of the beneficial ingredients include- calcium, magnesium, silica, B-vitamins, iron, zinc and copper.
Health benefits of topical application or ingestion are anti-aging, promotes collagen production within the skin, stimulates circulation, provides natural sun protection, strengthens bones and increases bone density, whitens teeth, helps heal acne, heals/brightens skin, regulates immune system, improves heart health, relieves stress/anxiety, improves sleep and helps to remove toxic substances from the body.
Here are a few products to try out :) keep an eye out
