Beauty & Health Benefits of Drinking Water


 According to the U.S. Geological Survey- 60% of the human body is made of water, our brains 70% and our lungs 90%! That's a lot of water right? So how much should we all be drinking daily to stay healthy? Well it depends on whether you are male or female and how much you sweat (due to exercise or extreme heat). The Institute of Medicine determined that on average the daily amount an adult male should consume is about 3.7 liters (125 oz. or 15 cups) and for the adult female about 2.7 liters (91 oz. or 11 cups).
